Billy is very excited. But when the builders start work, Old Hushwing is disturbed and he flies away into danger. When Old Hushwing doesn't come back, Billy persuades his parents to build a small house especially for the owl, and in the spring Old Hushwing finally returns -- accompanied by Mrs Hushwing!
